Three words. That was all it took to make Jared put on a real smile and actually be really happy. I love you. He didn’t have to pretend to look happy for her sake, she made him happy. “I love you too.” He said kissing the top of her head and just holding her close to him for a second. Being like this could make him forget all his problems and worries...like what had happened last night, for a little while at least. He did wish he could forget about it and he knew Kim did too, but it was a lot harder then it sounded.
Kim was dramatic. She was an actress so it was to be expected. A dramatic actress who thought she was a cute dork...yep that was Kimmy. She was so strange and crazy sometimes...she might not even realize it. "Your so strange sometimes.” She started off. It was like she was reading his mind. “You didn't do anything wrong, and yet you apologize. Need I remind you again that I was just being a drama queen." “Should I apologize for apologizing?” He said with a slight smirk on his face. He liked messing with her. Not to much, but just enough.
Kim went in to try another outfit on. He wondered what they would do after she was done shopping... She walked back out and over to the mirrors. “Kim, you know I am going to say you look pretty in no matter what you wear.” He meant it too, he didn’t just say it because it was the nice thing to say or he didn’t want to tell her the truth. He really thought she was gorgeous. “I mean it too.” He added, walking over to lean on one of the many mirrors in the store, diagonal from her. “I like the color red...”
((this was a really sucky post. sorry. i will do better next time))

There it was. She had finally hit that button. The button that made Jared give that really smile. The happy smile. Not the fake smile that he had tried to get her believe before. He kissed her head and she smiled. After he said that he loved her too, she looked up to see that smile again. That was one of her favorite parts of Jared. His smile. Especially when it was real like this. "There's the smile." She said, smiling in response. “Should I apologize for apologizing?” She rolled her eyes. Of course she should have seen that coming. "No, you dork. Just don't apologize for things that aren't your fault anymore!" She rolled her eyes again at the smirk on his face. She knew he loved messing with her like this. She didn't mind much unless it got to bad....which it never did of course. “Kim, you know I am going to say you look pretty in no matter what you wear.” She smiled a little and nodded. "I know. That's why, no offense, i cant really trust your opinions on clothes." She turned to the side and looked at herself in the mirror again. She had decided that she liked this outfit when she heard Jared say: “I mean it too. I like the color red...” Kim smiled and looked over to him. Of course, when shopping with Jared it was always like this. He always gave her compliments that she knew he meant but weren't always exactly the whole truth. He saw her differently than everyone else did. Walking back into the dressing room to change back into her clothes before grabbing the couple of outfits she had decided to buy. She took them up to the front counter and pulled out her wallet to pay. Once she had the bags she walked outside with Jared. "So, where to now?" She asked, looking up at him.
(It was fine.)

“I smile all the time!” He stated. It was true, he was usually all smiles around Kim. The only time he wasn’t smiling was when he was either away from Kim or he was thinking about how he messed up...oh and of course if Kim was upset, which most likely because he had messed up. Dork? I am so not a dork. He still wanted to mess with her, though. “Am I a cute dork?” He asked still a huge smirk on his face. He ignored her last part of the statement though. He wasn’t going to not apologize or make a promise he couldn’t keep. If he said he wouldn’t apologize anymore he would likely break that promise within the next hour.“None taken.” he said laughing a little. He wasn’t really in to trends or anything. He usually just wore whatever pair of shorts he could find, and on those rare days that her wore a shirt, he usually just found whatever was clean. She seemed to like this outfit and he watched as she walked back into the dressing room. A couple of minutes later she walked out of the dressing room with the pile of clothes she was buying. He grinned before following her over to the register. Kim always seemed happy shopping. He didn’t really understand the pleasure in it but was happy that Kim was happy. After paying they walked outside. "So, where to now?" She asked. “Well....I’ll take your bags to the car. You decide where we go next.” He said taking her stuff and starting to walk away before she could object to him making her decide. He hated deciding what they were going to do. He was always that way, only with Kim, but he didn’t liked knowing that what they did was something she wanted to do. Not something she would be bored with or not have fun with because he had chosen it.

"Yes, but I can tell when it is a real smile and when it is an "Oh, let's make Kimmy forget all about this and put on a happy face" smile. Your not a good actor Jare, no offense." She said, smiling a little. She laughed when he asked if he was a cute dork. That was a stupid question to ask Kim. She always thought Jared was cute. She loved him and even in the ugliest outfit on the planet, she would still think he was the cutest guy on earth. "Of course. I really don't know why you are even asking that question." She said, rolling her eyes slightly. That was like asking him if he loved her. Stupid question. “Well....I’ll take your bags to the car. You decide where we go next.” With that, he started walking off. "Jared!" She said, looking into the street for cars before jogging after him. "Please, don't make me choose again. I got to go shopping, so you pick now. Please?" She asked, putting on the cute puppy dog face. It was possibly the only way she was going to get him to pick something. She loved being with Jared and honestly didn't care what they did. They could sit there and watch paint dry and Kim would be perfectly fine with it. (sorry it was short. Im tired and have zero muse)

"Yes, but I can tell when it is a real smile and when it is an "Oh, let's make Kimmy forget all about this and put on a happy face" smile. Your not a good actor Jare, no offense." She said. “I smile a lot and it is sooo real.” He said, smiling back her with his real smile. “Mostly.” He added. It was true that he was usually only truly happy around Kim. There were very few people that could make him really smile. Kim had so much power and control over him and she didn’t even know. “And I am such a good actor. I learned from you.” He stated. He knew he wasn’t a great actor. He couldn’t lie to Kim. To anyone else, if he had to, he could lie but with Kim he just couldn’t. He would feel really bad and end up telling her the truth. The only time he ever lied to her was if it was for her own good and only if he really had too.
He knew what she would say, wether she meant it or not, that he was cute. He didn’t really didn’t care if she thought he was cute or not; he just liked messing with her and using the word she had described herself as was even better. She made it seem like his question was a stupid question, he wasn’t exactly sure if it was but she seemed to think so. He rolled his eyes back at her, mocking her a little.
He new Kim was right on his heals. He still continued walking though. With any luck, she would just turn back and decide on something they could do...but he knew that that wasn’t going to happen. He made it to the other side of the road before turning to face Kim. "Please, don't make me choose again. I got to go shopping, so you pick now. Please?" She asked. “Seriously Kim? Come on, don’t give me that look. You know I would much rather have you pick something instead of me picking something.”

"Well good!" She said, smiling and giving him a kiss. "Because, I love to see that cute little real smile of yours!" She said, looking up at him and smiling once more. She very rarely had to fake a smile around Jared. He just made her so happy to be around. Especially on days like these were she got to spend all day with him. Sometimes it annoyed her how much she smiled. Sometimes it made her cheeks sore. But, she wouldn't give up time with Jared for anything in the world. It was what she looked forward to when she went to school in the morning and even when she went to bed at night. All she had to think was : Wow. I get to see my wonderful boyfriend tomorrow. She noticed him roll his eyes and rolled hers right back, exaggerating it just a little. "I can roll my eyes right back Jared." She said, smirking.
“Seriously Kim? Come on, don’t give me that look. You know I would much rather have you pick something instead of me picking something.” She gave him her cute little puppy dog look once more. "Please pick something, Jared? Pretty Please?" With the pretty please she made her face even more exaggerated. She smiled, knowing he couldn't resist. It was sort of their thing. She couldn't resist his puppy dog face and he couldn't resist hers.

He kissed her for a second and when she pulled back he was smiling his real smile. He didn’t know why she cared if he really smiled or not....well....he did know, she loved him and cared if he was happy or sad but he still didn’t get why she couldn’t just pretend he was really smiling. He watched her over-dramaticly roll her eyes again at him. “Are we going to have an eye rolling contest. Cuz you know i’ll win.” He said with still a little bit of a smirk on his face.
This was why he loved her. He watched her just standing there looking at him with her cute face. "Please pick something, Jared? Pretty Please?" She pleaded with him. He sighed in defeat. “Fine.” He said shaking his head a little. He reached into his pocket and pulled out some money and handed it to her. “How about you go get us some tickets to paranormal activity or whatever movie is on soon?” She would most likely find nothing wrong with this, after all she had suggested this last night so it was kind of like her deciding on what they were doing. But of course he was up to something different if she didn’t want to see a movie yet. “Unless you can think of something different.” He said, smiling a little.

She watched him smile and couldn't help but smile back. "See, that is why I love your real smile. It's like contagious!" She said, still smiling and hugging him. Sure, she loved his real smile, but she just loved being around him even more. And, being close to him. "I love you." She said, her smile fading. However, not in a bad way. Just in a sort of serious way. When she told Jared she loved him, it was one of the rare minutes around Jared that she was not smiling or laughing or joking around. “Are we going to have an eye rolling contest. Cuz you know i’ll win.” She noticed the smirk on her face and couldn't help but smirk back. She raised her eyebrows as well. "Oh really? Because, I think differently!" She said, her smirk changing into a smile.
“Fine.” She smiled immediately and triumphantly. She had won. “How about you go get us some tickets to paranormal activity or whatever movie is on soon?” She took the money he handed her and clapped a little. "I knew I'd win." She said, smiling up at him. She gave him a quick kiss and, looking before she did, walked off across the street towards the movie theater. Hmmmm. She thought, thinking of what movies where in the theater right now and which one actually seemed good.
[sorry, mine is a tad bit short too]

He stalked his prey, like an animal hunting in the wild, Dacre searched for the perfect target. He didn’t require his next meal to be injured, young or weak; the humans were always weaker than he was, he was much too quick for them and his strength could crush in a single tightening of his hand around someone’s delicate throat. Tonight he cared not to select the ones who had committed crimes, the ones who deserved to die; tonight he was hunting for fresh innocent blood. He needed it, longed for it, and no other would satisfy him enough to return back to his shack in Forks. Perhaps he longed for a bit of excitement, something to awaken his senses and embrace his animalistic nature. He was a monster, so he may as well act like one. He was reminded of his fledgling days, where bloodlust consumed him on such a frequent basis that he left devastation in his path and had to move through towns and villages as quick as he had entered them.
Dacre’s eyes were as black as onyx, and temptation came with every human that passed him by as he lurked at the entrance of one of Port Angeles’ dark alleyways. He would need to feed soon, otherwise he would lose control and take the lives of all that walked the streets, though the image thrilled him, Dacre still wouldn’t risk his exposure. His mood had deteriorated in the days after Kiwi’s departure, and worsened after that. Though the young woman annoyed him on a daily basis, he could not imagine his life without his lifelong companion and now she was gone, he saw no point in anything. His existence was just that, existing, with no point or purpose and he loathed the human’s strutting around and flaunting their perfect lives in front of his dark eyes.
A scent so sweet and enticing wafted over to him from the other side of the street though it was mingled with a musky scent that reminded him of that of a dog, and his keen eyes set upon the young couple who were discussing their next moves. The male was going to head back to his car and unload the girl’s purchases whilst she would head towards the cinema alone. It was a perfect opportunity. The pumping of her fragile heart beneath her chest, the pulsing of her fresh crimson blood beneath her skin, and her alluring scent almost pushed Dace over the edge right then and there. He very almost leapt out from his observation spot, ran across the street and grabbed her right under the boy’s nose. He was capable of it, that was certain, but that would spoil his fun; he wanted to play a little with his food before he sucked the blood from them. The couple reminded him of his long dead wife Claudia, and the family they had only just begun, the very sight of the happy pair made him bitter and vengeful. He wanted to destroy their happiness, sticking a pin into a balloon, it only took an instant and it was gone.
A malicious grin spread across his face, his gleaming sharp teeth prominent amongst thee worn features across his face. He watched her cross the street, her frail figure leaving behind the muscular protector of her boyfriend. Dacre waited for the male to turn his back, and the girl to walk by where he was concealed by shadows. She neared the entrance of the alley and once she was in a good place, Dacre took one swift movement and reached out to grab her. His hand instinctively went to cover her mouth, to prevent any screams that would bring more attention than he wanted, and with his other hand around her waist, pulled her off of the street. The warm human flesh against his icy skin was almost too much, he could feel the beating of her heart and her scent was intoxicating him, smothering him in the close proximity. He stopped breathing, trying to regain control over his aching body that longed for her blood. His back was pressed against the wall, her mortal body held in place in front of him with his tight grip, though he would not hurt her…yet. “Well aren’t you precious.” Dacre whispered vehemently in her ear, his mouth curling into a smirk at his instant enjoyment of his captured prey.
ooc: hope it's okay with the little bit of god-modding, i can change it if you like

Kim could see the movie theater now. She could see the bright, blinking lights on the sign and see the large groups of people gathered in front and the cars parked in the street. She smiled, still thinking of Jared and continued walking towards it. Then, something happened. She wasn't even quite sure what happened for several seconds. But, she knew one thing, there was an arm wrapped around her waist that definatly was not Jared's. This one was cold, hard, and unwelcome. Then, a hang that was just as hard and cold flew up to cover her mouth. It all happened so fast that she didn't even have time to scream. All she could remember where the memories from childhood "Stranger Danger" lectures. Punch, kick, scream.....do anything you can to get away. Since the second one was obviously not an option, she tried the first. She brought her hands up to the hand covering her mouth and scratched at them, digging, or at least trying, her fingernails into the skin. However, all she was met with was a hard, cold arm the seemed somehow indestructible.
Her body immediately went rigid at the voice that was at her ear. “Well aren’t you precious.” That voice, was like none she had ever heard. It was dripping with malicious venom. She almost started crying on the spot, but remembered another thing said to her at a lecture. "Do not show fear. They live on it." So, she kept her body rigid and tried once more to pull his hand away with no success. She was stuck and Jared was at the car. He would be worried sick when he would not be able to find her at the movie theater. She was just going to disappear into thin air. That is, if this man did not leave her for dead right there in the alley.

"I love you, too.” He said kissing her lightly before turning to walk back to the car. Seeing a movie would be fun, there wouldn’t be many people in the movie theater most likely since it is the middle of the day and he would get to sit there and hold Kimberly for as long as he wanted to. Perfect day. He crossed the street and walked over to the back parking lot. He wanted to get back to Kim so he quickly unlocked the car and put her bags in the back trunk. He didn’t know how she could spend hours in a store shopping and trying on clothes. He knew that if he wasn’t there she would have still been in the store most likely. He would get bored shopping for that long. ‘beep. beep.’ He locked the car and started back towards the movie theater. She probably was just buying the tickets. He sighed a little as he jogged back across the street. He tasted something on his tongue and froze for a second. He took a deep breath in and new immediately what the smell was, vampire. His first thought was Kim. Where was she? He looked around trying to find the leech. He couldn’t tell where the smell was coming from though...it was everywhere, and worst of all...it was fresh. How had he not noticed this before? He, for once, hoped it was just a Cullen. At least they didn’t drink human blood, they wouldn’t dare. The smell didn’t smell familiar so he guessed it wasn’t a Cullen. He was freaking out. He ran straight to the movie theater on the path Kim most likely took. As he was running though the smell got stronger. He stopped dead in his tracks to determine where the bloodsucker was. The alley. He could now smell Kim’s wonderful intoxicating scent mixed with the disgusting icy sweet smell of the leech. His hands were now shaking and he was doing everything he could not to phase. He couldn’t phase though, he had to find Kim and make sure she was okay. He bolted right over to the alley. “Kim!”

Naturally the girl struggled against him, the fight response kicking in almost instantly as he had pulled her into the alley and out of the public eye. Dacre enjoyed it all the more because of her pathetic attempts to escape his grasp, wondering whether she assumed he was just the average mugger or whether she sensed something more sinister about him. Her nails scratched at his granite skin in their futile attempts to force him to release his grip, of course if he was human then it would have probably had the effect she desired, but unfortunately for her he was near indestructible. “There’s no point in struggling.” He leered, and briefly tightened his hold around her waist as if to prove the point. She was like a fly caught in a spider’s web, fighting against the sticky wires that held them in place until the spider returned to feast upon their flesh. Dacre had every opportunity to bite into her neck; his teeth could penetrate her skin as though it were paper and break the large artery that lay there, spilling her young blood that he would drink like water. He found it amusing how her body tensed and let out a small chuckle as she tried to conceal the fear that he knew would be coursing through her, Dacre could feel the flurried beating of her heart against his own still chest and at that moment, felt truly inhuman.
Dacre was aware that her boyfriend would soon come looking for her, and so he either had the option to take her life before she was discovered or to wait and see what fun the muscular male would bring him. He was up for a challenge, and though his throat burned uncontrollably, he would wait and see what the rest of the day would bring him; after all, he had all the time in the world. Immortality was just as much as a blessing than a curse and it was about time Dacre started enjoying his intermediate life, though that feeling wouldn’t last for very long before the depression set in once again. The murmur of the streets became background noise as his attention was focussed on the pulsating organ of life that had him as much entranced as envious. Vampirism was a living hell, that one could either put up with for eternity or they could allow it to destroy them; Dacre thought that perhaps he was now being destroyed, slowly and painfully. A part of him didn’t care whether the human race saw him for what he was, he had lived six hundred odd years and that was quite long enough, so why was he still so cautious in his hunting efforts?
The musky scent that circled around the female was becoming stronger, and with a smirk upon his lips, Dacre awaited the arrival of her partner who would no doubt be pretty angry with him. Now it would get interesting. He subtly pulled his victim further down the alleyway, her body as light as a feather, she was easily to lift a little off the ground so he wouldn’t be dragging her heels across the concrete. ”Kim!” Dacre smiled, they had been discovered so disappointingly easily, but he hadn’t expected any less from the man he suspected to be a shifter. The repulsive smell was almost sickening in the close proximity, but that did not put Dacre off from his quest. His hand slipped from her mouth as the dark haired man approached, and instead traced the side of Kim’s neck whilst staring pointedly at her boyfriend. “She’s so…delicate, fragile even. Her blood smells perfectly…delicious.”

Kim was shaking slightly with fear now. She didn't know what to do and the same thoughts from before came back. Oh my god. I'm going to die. I'm going to die here in this alley. What about Jared? What will happen to him? A few tears started rolling down her cheeks and she heard the same melodic, yet malicious voice at her ear. “There’s no point in struggling.” That was when she truly started thinking about giving up. This guy, whoever it was, was right. There was no point in struggling and maybe if she stopped struggling he would make it quick and painless.
Just as she started losing hope and was truly ready to give up, she heard running footsteps and a voice she was very happy to hear. “Kim!” She wanted desperately to yell out and tell him to leave and not get hurt, but at the same time wanted him to come, save her and take her home. Then, she was pulled back further into the alley and further away from her protector. Then, she noticed Jared getting closer and felt the hand removed from her mouth. "Jared!" She yelled, although he was getting closer. She felt the man's hand trace her neck and knew what he was as soon as the words left his mouth. “She’s so…delicate, fragile even. Her blood smells perfectly…delicious.” Kim's body tensed again. Vampire. She was scared. Sure, she had known that there were vampires in Forks and Port Angeles, but this was different. She was now in the grip of a predator. And, she was the prey.

He froze and stood at the end of the alley watching them for a second. If he aggravated this leech he could snap and bite kimmy. He walked slowly forward. until he was about twenty feet away. He had a couple different options as to what he could do. He could phase into a wolf and attack this disgusting bloodsucker, he could run towards it and try to get its grip off of Kim, he could plead with the thing to let her go, or he could walk away. Well there was no way in hell that he would walk away, he rather the leech just bit him instead. His natural instinct would be to phase and attack but that might not be the best option. For one thing that would make Kim more scared then she already was. He also wasn’t sure if he would be able to take the leech and being on his own he didn’t want to take any chances unless it was absolutely necessary. All of the werewolves always claimed that they were so much stronger and better and could kill a vampire with no problem at all, but he and every other shifter new that that wasn’t always the case. Even though no one wanted to admit it, vampires are very strong and it was hard to kill them without getting injured yourself especially if you were on your own like he was. His next option was to run forward and try to force this thing away from her. He couldn’t do that though, if he made any sudden movement towards her the bloodsucker could snap her neck in one-second and be drinking her blood in the next. He knew how dangerous these creatures were. But he wasn’t sure if Kim knew how dangerous they were...if she understood really what they were capable of. He wasn’t even sure if she knew she was in the arms of a vampire. He had never told her a lot about vampires, about what they were really like. Of course she had heard the stories about ‘the cold ones’ but they were more then pretty creatures who drink blood. They were incredibly strong, inhumanly fast, and some even had special powers. He knew some of the Cullen leeches had powers. One could see the future and one could hear your thoughts...all the time. He hadn’t told Kim much about vampires or the Cullens or anything. If she ever brought it up, which happened rarely, he would change the topic. He didn’t want her to be scared. Kim probably had never met another vampire before. She might have seen the Cullen’s around Forks but other then that she wouldn’t have ever witnessed the truth to this mythical creatures business. Something like this would make her see how real this all was. So it looked like he would have to use his last option: beg and plead. He didn’t usually do anything like this but it was Kim, he had control of the most important person in his life which meant that this vampire also had control of him. His body tensed as this thing talked about how delicious his Kimberly’s blood smelled. What did this vampire want with her? She had never done anything wrong, it wasn’t her fault she was sucked into this mythical world, it was his. His eyes were locked on his hand while it traced her neck. It was like the vampire wanted a fight, he wanted Jared to get mad and lose control. Why had this leech picked her though? Was it because she was his imprint and he hated werewolves or was it because of her ‘delicious smell’ as he put it. He knew better then anyone how good Kim smelled, it was his favorite smell and he loved when it was all around him. It seemed like he wasn’t the only one. His eyes moved away from his hand and he concentrated on Kim for the first time since he had walked into this dreaded alley. There was fear in her eyes, even if she tried not to show it. He could tell just by looking at her that she was terrified. He wouldn’t...couldn’t...let anything happen to her though. She had tears running down her face but she didn't seem hurt, just incredibly scared. His eyes darted back towards the vampire. He stared deep into his eyes trying to figure out what he really wanted here. Was it a snack or fight or just some fun...or worse, all three? He couldn’t tell what the vampire wanted but he could tell one thing: He was hungry. His eyes were a deep, dark black. He wasn’t an expert at vampires but he knew enough about them to know that when they were hungry their eyes turned this shade. He decided he should start his pleading. “Please let her go.” He pleaded. If he started out nice, he might have a better chance of getting what he wanted. “What do you want with her?”
i had muse [: i think this is done...yeah, it's done.....[:

The trembling had begun, the fear showing itself though she was trying her hardest not to let it surface, he caught the glimmering tracks down her pure face from the tears that had only just started to fall. He wanted to take away her pain and fear, he wanted to end it all for her and extinguish her life as though it were a flame calling to be blown out. Dacre however, was amused by the male, whose well built body was not being put to good use against the man who threatened the one he loved. It was curious how the boy controlled his anger so he did not burst out from his own skin, though that would have been a stupid move and the girl would have been dead before the wolf form had a chance to reach him. Dacre felt a great sense of power, a feeling he surprisingly didn’t often have as he rarely saw himself as superior, but that was different now. He called the shots, he chose if the girl would live or die and nobody was going to stop him, not even the human mutt that stood a distance away from him.
Her voice was just as delicate as her body and still so feminine as she shouted to the boy called Jared, her pitiful cry only caused the smile on Dacre’s face to broaden. He knew what must have been racing through the frantic mind of the over protective boyfriend, which made it all the more satisfying to watch his features change as Dacre drew a path down Kim’s neck. Her body tensed again, instinct telling her if she stayed nice and still then he wouldn’t hurt her; she was wrong. “Shh, no need to worry. I’ll make it quick, it might even be painless – I wouldn’t know, I’ve never died.” He said callously and ran one hand slowly through her soft waves of hair as a parent would do to calm a child when they were frightened of the nonexistent monster under their bed; only he was the monster.
A part of him wished he could read their minds, though perhaps he didn’t really want to hear the pathetic pleas or prayers that if spoken aloud, would fall on deaf ears. It would have been useful to be able to predict Jared’s next moves, but that would spoil the fun of unpredictability. Dacre knew the male would not leave his mate behind, he would not sacrifice her life so he could walk away free. That wasn’t how the majority of humans worked, always looking out for everybody else and neglecting the most important person; themselves. Dacre was looking after number one, he needed a blood meal and he had chosen his victim. The burning in his throat was getting worse as the slow hand of time pushed forwards, so he would need to feed on someone sooner rather than later. He could practically taste her blood, the scent so overpowering as he began to breathe again, like a drug almost, the crimson river that flowed through her called for him. He lived such a life, full of corruption, as how could he not when he had to feed on the humans that littered theland?
Silently, Dacre called for his servant; the black fox that had gone unnoticed as he was concealed in the deepest shadows at the very end of the alley. Ira subtly crept out and sat on the other side of Dacre, so the vampire and human stood in between his animal servant and the dog. The fox would wait for the next command if it was necessary, as he may be needed to occupy the female in case Dacre had to fight off the shifter. A fight would make things a lot more interesting, and the street of Port Angeles would surely enjoy the indulgence of another world full of the creatures that made up legends. ”Please let her go.” Dacre chuckled at the plea that seemed insignificant in the situation, Jared could not expect any vampire to just let their prey go, let alone one who was so thirsty it felt as though he had swallowed razor blades that were now searing his throat. He tilted his blonde head to one side in curiosity, his eyes never leaving the tormented man’s. “Now why would I want to do that?” He asked with an icy undertone. ”What do you want with her?” This time Dacre could not prevent a laugh escaping his lips, the man though brawny, was clearly naïve to the lifestyle and diet of vampires. “What do you think? I want her blood, that’s all; you can keep her body if you wish.” Dacre answered flippantly with a brutal honesty that he knew would hit both partners in the chest as though they had been shot. He was enjoying every moment.
