Wandering off was beginning to be a normal thing for Carin to do. As much as Valorian protested about his sister going out by herself, he did let her go. She wasn't no child no more. Carin also had one of those prepaid phones in case of emergencies and would use it if she needed either one of her brothers. They all knew what could be out in those woods, Valorian had been the one to find that out for himself. He had tried to take on the vampire that he had came across, but the keyword was tried. Valorian hadn't succeeded and when he had come back to finish it off, a human girl had run into him and soon the vampire had followed. Turned out the two were to be married soon and with the vampires weakness, he had tried to hurt the girl. That had pained Valorian that he had brought harm to that girl, but not to the vampire. Not really. That had been one of the first few weeks that the Trespi's had come to the Olympic Peninsula area. Another bad memory to add onto others. Carin was almost sure there would still yet be more to add onto the pile of bad memories all of them already shared together.
Wearing what she did, kept her mostly cool. She couldn't do as the guys did, no that would be awkward. Carin actually had to wear her shirt, opposed to Valorian and Dante who if got warm could just strip off the shirt and discard it to the side. Carin wasn't that lucky, she was a female after all. Stuffing her cell phone, that Valorian had her carry around if she was going out, into her shorts pocket she headed down the stairs. Waving to Valorian, she left the house. Carin had been going to the same trail for the last couple of days, she'd been smelling a scent that was almost as familiar as her brothers but yet very different. She had told Valorian about it that first day she had come across it, and he had told her to be careful and to be a little weary. They didn't know who it was and could be anyone, didn't have to be the Quileutes either. Carin doubted it was them, she had picked up some of their scents around the area when she wondered around. Though she never did this as a wolf, not normally at least. She thought it would be just too risky, Carin also preferred to be human. Not like Dante though, he liked being a wolf. Carin let out a sigh as she began her walk on her familiar trail that head more towards La Push than it did Forks. It was were the scent was strongest.
Dante. He had sure changed since the last time she had been around him, he'd been so young, so innocent then as well. Carin's mind was her brother as her feet automatically took her towards the path she was oh so familiar with. It was close to the road now too, but she stayed right in the edge of the woods. Unless you were looking close you wouldn't be seeing her. She was all too well aware of danger around her now, that she was beginning to become as cautious as her brother. But why shouldn't she? Carin's brothers were much worse than she was at being cautious but they had been exposed to more than she had. She closed her mind off to that, she didn't want to think about the past. Too many bad memories laid there. Many that she wished had never happened but they did, only now she couldn't get them to stop replying over and over again in her mind when she left her mind to wander off as she was doing now. Carin's footsteps carried her to the end of the trail that she had went over and over again, but today...she was going to find out who this mystery person was. She peered ahead and saw a tiny little dirt track. Also she saw a guy outside working in the bit of sun that was coming down. It was mostly cloudy but there was some sun trying to peer though the clouds.
Carin took in a breath, she was going to go and do this. She wasn't sure if this guy she was seeing was the one who's scent she had been picking up on for the last couple of days, but she would find out. And that required her getting close to the person. Carin took a step out of the woods she was in, coming onto the small dirt road that led up to the place ahead, it looked like a dirt track or sorts. Wonder if you had to bring your own thing to ride there. Well she'd find out. Coming up on the man that was outside working, she put on a smile. ”Hey, Carin paused and looked around quickly. ”So what all does this place do? She looked at him, smiling. One of her hands came up and combed through her shoulder length brown hair, moving it around. Running her hands though her hair was a habit she was beginning to pick up, at least it wasn't something real bad.

he screams and smiles and he says ---------- I ' M R E A D Y T O G O ----------
Basking in the sun was beginning to remind Julian so much of the home he left behind not too long ago. Well now maybe that was a bit much. The day was warm for the most part, but Julian knew well that there were devilish clouds up in the sky that were just waiting to cover the glorious sunlight. He was well aware of Fork's continuous over cast and depressing rain, but today felt like a blessing from God. The warmth was one he yearned for, and for once his new surroundings seemed to please him. La Push was nothing like Forks. It was much more secluded and was covered in forests. Julian loved feeling enclosed, he wasn't one for extremely large open spaces. At times he would imagine as if La Push was his own home, but with a lot more green foliage. In Mexico, shrubs and such were much more of a golden/brownish color. It took him a while to realize that everything in this place was green, green, and just even more green. Even though it was different, he wouldn't make it a vice of his. Julian was always up for adventures, this was just another one that would lead to many more to follow.
When he had stepped out of his apartment this morning, the clouds seemed much more numerous and threatening. This observation caused him to put on a hat, a long sleeved shirt, and jeans. Lying on the ground now, under a dirt bike, he wished he hadn't assumed so quickly. He could feel the perspiration dripping from his head, and already his chest was covered in it, as well as his back. Thankfully for him, he had a spare set of clothes in his back pack. It was very normal for him to bring extra sets of clothes to work. He hated looking like crap, and made it a necessity to fix himself up before he left home. Staring up at the bike, he noticed it needed a new exhaust. "Typical," he murmured. Kids that would come riding here all the time, would never be quite aware of where the ground let up, or got higher. So each time they bikes would be brought back, the exhaust pipes would be all banged up. It would hurt Julian internally to see how misshapen some of the bikes would come back. He loved cars, and it pained him dearly to see a machine so beaten up.
Getting up from underneath the bike he dusted off his backside, and headed inside the garage for some parts. It was dimly lit, but caused no issue for him. As a shape-shifting jaguar he could see well in the dark, even in his human form. Moving around all the shelves, he finally found one that was in a good enough condition to use. Taking it in his grip he headed back outside. A small breeze blew by and caused Jule to stand still in order for him to take it in. As he stood with the wind caressing his perspired face, he could smell something off in the distance. He knew it was someone approaching him since the footsteps were audible for him. The smell was delicate, he was sure it was a girl. He could trace bits of scents from his own country. "Is she Mexican?" He didn't know why, but he could tell that there was something foreign about her. Unluckily for him, the smell of the woods, mixed in with everything else made it difficult for him to actually make an assumption. "Sea paciente," he assured himself.
Quickly getting back under the bike in order to switch the parts before she came, he moved his hands rapidly. He hoped with everything in his heart that she wouldn't catch him moving this quickly. He was sure to be showing off some traits normal humans didn't possess. As he made his way back up and turned around, there she was. Ai dios mio, he silently thought. She was beautiful, their was no faking that. Her hair was long and brown, and her skin matched flawlessly. She had to be from somewhere else but here. Julian was most certain now. Listening as she made her welcoming remark, Julian wiped his forehead. He felt like such a douche since he was sure he looked pretty terrible. It was always such a problem when he let people see him like this, especially girls. Fiddling with the old exhaust pipe in hand, he couldn't help but smile as she asked her questiones and ran her fingers through her hair.
Before he decided to respond, he straightened himself out and took a necessary breath. She was knocking the wind out of him. "Ola, I'm Julian. I'm the mechanic here." He knew too well she'd understand his accent. A small part of him hoped she'd like it too. "Umm, this is the dirt tracks. What usually goes on here, is racing with dirt bikes and other types of racing machines. I just enjoy watching kids fall on their butts. It's hilarious." Letting out a small chuckle he decided to continue. "Could you excuse me for a second?" Stepping around her he made his way back into the garage. Dropping the exhaust to the ground, he tore of his shirt and let it fall to the floor. He hoped when he returned that she wouldn't think he was trying to show off his pecs. He was truly dying of heat from all the work he'd done all day. Reaching into his pants he grabbed a cigarette and a lighter. Putting the cigarette in his mouth he lit it an went back outside.
When he finally reached the girl again he stood behind her and turned on his charm. "So linda, como se chama?"

The jeans that Carin had picked out for the day fit her quite well, they were almost a little too short but no one would know unless she bent over. She wasn't planning on doing that, so it was all good. But the shorts helped to keep her cool. Seeing as her temperature ran pretty high now a days, but that was probably due to the fact that she was what she was. There bodies kept heated, she hadn't yet found out the reason why to it but her and her brothers all had the same heat radiating off of them. Her shirt she had picked out too, had been light and thin. White too, she wouldn't dare wear black when she went outside. With her heat plus the heat of outside and the possible chance of some sun hitting down on that, it would make Carin purely miserable. So black in her wardrobe was a big no no. Maybe some for the night but as for the day when she was out doing things, which was most of the time, then no. The shoes she wore, were good for running. They all did that a lot, and it was much easier to run for long distances now. She had done so for quite a few months even before Valorian had come back for her and it had just gotten more beaten down when Val had come after her and they started on there way to get their brother. This look all suited Carin well, her tan skin acquired from her mother and fathers ancestry looked very well, along with her dark hair. All of the Trespi children had gotten the light tan skin and dark hair.
It was beginning to get a little hot out here but that could be factoring in with her added heat, probably to a normal person, a normal human she should say. The evidence was clearly on this mans body as well, the sweat was clearly on his shirt and forehead as he had been working on this...dirt bike? Yes, that's what it was. Carin was almost sure of it. Carin stood there and waited patiently for the man to come out from under the machine he was working on. She took a deep breath. The scent that she had been following had certainly been his, it was slightly changed now but she assumed that was from the sweat the was tinged on his shirt there. His skin was pretty dark too, didn't look like a tan. His facial features as well suggested he had more of the same heritage that Carin and her family had. But she could have been wrong. Her eyes looked down to the thing that was still in his hands. It was a funny looking thing, but it was something she recognized seeing on vehicles but it seemed a little bit different. She couldn't put a word to it. Carin wasn't too mechanically inclined, never found the need to be. Carin smiled politely at him. His voice held a nice Spanish accent. It was one she heard on her brothers, especially Valorian. It was comforting to her, she liked it. ”Nice to meet you Julian.” She paused as he continued on. So it was a dirt track. That would have explained the machine Julian was working on. ”So this is an uh...dirt bike? She asked with a bit of skepticism in her voice. ”But...isn't that dangerous? Them falling and all. Couldn't they go and get themselves hurt? She asked him, looking at the machine that was beside him. Yes it looked quite dangerous if you were traveling fast on it and wrecked it. Very dangerous. ”Oh uh...yes. I'll just be here.” Carin replied, and stood there waiting as he disappeared off into the garage.
Looking around, she took in what this dirt track area looked like. It looked like it could be fun but it looked like it could be very dangerous as well. His voice had made her jump as she had been in her own little world. She should have been paying more attention than she was, he could have been dangerous just as her brother had said. But he didn't know she had actually followed the scent and went up to the person it belonged to. But she was naturally curious. She spun around to meet him face to face, only being a few inches away. Carin smiled at him again, trying to be polite. Though for his appearance, it took her off by surprise that he had come out shirtless. She looked him up and down, but tore her eyes away from looking at him. She didn't want to be caught staring at him shirtless. The next thing she had noted that was new was the cigarette he held in his hand. One of her dark eyebrows arched as she stared at it, he smoked? That was a habit some people had picked up but Carin hadn't ever thought about picking up the habit. It wasn't all that appealing to her, nor was the smell of the smoke. She blinked her eyes a few times as some of the smoke came up and around her face. He opened his mouth to talk but no English words came out of it, instead Spanish. A smile pulled at the corner of her lips. So he thought she was beautiful? This boy was still surprising her.
Carin hadn't really talked in Spanish for awhile but was as fluent as ever because of her parents. They had originally came from Mexico. Maybe this boy was too? Carin knew he could speak English though, because he had just done so moments before. Maybe he thought she knew it too. Carin rolled her eyes slightly and responded back in the same language. ”Hace no usted quiere saber?“ What it translated into was, 'Wouldn't you like to know?' She was being a little cautious, just like her brother probably would have wanted. But he probably wouldn't have come up to the person with the scent as she had. She laughed at herself before going on. ”¿Usted es muy bueno con español e inglés, no es usted? ¿Cuál es su lengua materna?” The words flew out of her mouth, just as easy as English did. Carin smiled up at him, he was taller than she was. But most guys were. She only stood at about six foot. Her words translated into 'You're very good with Spanish and English, aren't you? Which is your first language?' Really he had been speaking what most referred to as Spanglish, maybe he was unsure if she could speak Spanish fluently.

There was something about her that made Julian want to smile. He wasn't sure why, but he could sense somewhat of a connection with her. It was hard for him to deal with such feelings, because he hadn''t been happy with the opposite sex for a while. All the girls he had once known were all the same. They liked him for his looks, wanted his protection, and were ridiculously insane gold-diggers. It was no surprise Jule always looked mad. His expression really hadn't the chance to ever change, well except for now that is. He stared at her when she finally turned around to face him. Their faces were close enough that he could feel her cool breath caress his face. It was a nice feeling. Ever since his transformation he always ran a high temperature. It sucked terribly, but he learned to deal. As he gave her a shy look, her smile made a fluttering feeling in his stomach. How was she doing that to him? He coulnd't quite grasp what was so, so, unique about her, but he could sense it. It was then that he realized she wasn't a big fan of the smoking. He could read the expression on her face, even though it was very small and subtle. Choosing to do the right thing he turned around, took a couple of steps and dropped the cigarette to the ground. Lifting his right foot he put it out and felt satisfied with himself. Putting out a cigarette was always hard for him, but he would never make a woman feel uncomfortable around his presence. It wasn't like him at all. He eventually knew he would quit, but for now he would try to make her feel better.
While he stood with his back facing her, the familiar sound of a language he once used readily escaped the girl's lips. He couldn't believe it! Lo sabía (I knew it!), he exuberantly thought. Jule had had a feeling that there was something foreign about her. It was amazing how spot on he had been. Her scent held smells of Mexican traces, and he was sure that's exactly where she was from. Oh he couldn't explain how good it would feel to be able to talk to her in Spanish. Although he didn't make it obvious, he was a little home sick. He missed his family dearly and kept in touch as often as he could. But now, thanks to some higher being, this girl walked into his life, and was just like him! The release he felt was so good it made him want to dance. He would save that for later though, especially when they were alone some other time. He could tell they had some chemistry between them, but he wouldn't dare try to make any moves on her. He was a gentleman in that sense, and he hoped she would respect the fact that he would be very cautious and yet kind. Placing his weight on the balls of his heels he turned around with a shocked and yet smug expression on his face. He wouldn't let her have all the fun with the cunning-ness. "Oh quisiera sí saber (oh yes I would like to know)," he said with an alluring tone. Instantly his eyes took on a fiery look and he moved back to her. Once near her he made sure to allow her some personal space.
"Mi lengua materna es español. Me enseñaron a inglés en México. Tengo una sensación pero me digo si soy incorrecto. Es usted de allí también? (My native language is Spanish. I was taught English in Mexico. I have a feeling, but tell me if I am wrong. Are you from there as well?)" He knew she would be able to understand everything he said, so he decided he shouldn't hold back. Before, he had spoke in such a way that anyone who didn't know Spanish might still understand what he meant. Now that he knew she could fluently speak, he laid it all out on her. Waiting for her reply he decided to take in a deep breath. He didn't know why, but something about her smell was so intoxicating. Julian thought he was going crazy, but something about her made him feel just like her. He was certain it wasn't because she knew Spanish, and that she might have as well been born in Mexico, but something much deeper than that. He was sure if he could keep her here with him longer he might be able to figure it out. Julian was always quite good at finding out things. The way he lived his life before required him to pry the truth from his enemies. Of course he wouldn't pry it out of her, he would just have to try to get into her mind as much as possible.
It was then when another breeze made that he realized he was still shirtless. He hoped she hadn't minded, but he thought it'd be better for him to go get dressed. He already had an idea, and needed to be dressed for it. "Excúseme para un momento mi dulce (Excuse me for one moment my sweet)," he said quickly. He felt awful that he kept having to ditch her for a quick second, but he was sure when he returned this time she'd feel much more comfortable. Making a little bow so as she could giggle about it once he left, he turned around and headed back into the garage. Picking up his back-pack he walked into the small bathroom there, and began getting undressed. Reaching into his bag he pulled out a pair of slightly tight jeans, a white tee, a quarter sleeved jacket and his sunglasses. Once they were all on he fixed up his hair and splashed some water on his face. Before leaving he spritzed some cologne onto him and stuffed his work clothes back into the bag. Moving quickly this time he exited the bathroom, and dropped his bag near the end of the garage. Slowing down he walked back into the sunlight with as much swager as possible. If he wasn't going to put on a show for her, then what was the point of speaking to her without a good few laughs?
When he had finally returned he leaned back on the bike he had just fixed. Suddenly it hit him. He should ask her to come take a ride with him. She had been asking him about the bikes before, and why not show her it would be safe by taking her for a ride? He was sure he'd be able to get to know her better. Putting on the most persuasive look he could he stared at her and asked. "Usted tiene gusto de tomar un paseo conmigo? Prometo que le guardaré caja fuerte no importa qué (Would you like to take a ride with me? I promise I'll keep you safe no matter what)." He was being truthful as hell. Even though she wouldn't know, he had strength far beyond any human. There was no way anything could happen to her with his reflexes. Leaning in towards her with his left hand still on the bike he reached out with his right hand. "Don't worry carida. I won't bite."

This boy, was something she hadn't anticipated when she had finally got the nerve to go up and see who the scent had belonged to. It was crazy that she was almost stalking this guy without even knowing him. Just because of his smell. Carin shook her head. This was crazy insane that she had actually went up to this person. But wouldn't he know what she was? Surely he should have. Carin stared at him, it didn't look like he had put anything together. Maybe...maybe he just had the scent on him from someone else? No, the scent was just too strong. He had to be like her. Just had to. Though his scent was slightly tinged with something else, made his scent different from her brothers or from the other scents of the boys who were like them in La Push. Carin looked up to him and kept the smile on her face, she just couldn't resist. He was very close as well, she was about to take a step back before he had moved. Jule had moved and she looked at him for a moment, wondering what he was doing. The cigarette. One corner of her lip pulled up more, he was putting it out...for her? Well that was nice. Had it been that obvious that the smoke was bothering her? ”Gracias.” Yet again she was using talking in Spanish, it was nice to use once again. She was enjoying herself.
His back was turned to her, he still having his shirt off. Carin kept her eyes on him as he put out the cigarette. It was really a nice gesture. This guy was giving off a great first impression to her. And it was nice to talk to someone other than her brothers, she hadn't been able to do that in awhile. Carin wasn't even able to contact anyone back from home, nor would she because if she did and the Volturi found out, they might just go and hurt more people she loves just to find out where they all were. The moment those thoughts began to come into her mind, she shut them out again. No, right now was not the time to be thinking about that. She was actually kind of enjoying herself. Even though she should be being more cautious than she was, as she didn't know this person but he didn't seem like he would be any harm to her. No he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. Julian turned around and her smile grew as she saw his shocked expression and the bit of a smug smile on his face. "¿Es eso tan? Entonces quizá yo le debo decir." Carin grinned at him. This was beginning to be amusing. Her words in English easily translated into. 'Is that so? Then maybe I should tell you.' Carin was being a little stubborn, but it was probably a good personality trait she had. Julian had come closer again, but this time he had given her more space and wasn't so up close and personal. Carin hadn't been really bothered by being that close but it was just a tad awkward, as she didn't know the person.
Strangely enough though, Carin felt very comfortable around Julian. He just gave off a certain vibe that made her feel like safe, it was very strange. His next question she was a little cautions on. ”Bien. ..you podría decir eso. Mi familia fue de México. Nuestra madre nos enseñó español.” Everything she said was the truth, but she had kept her words cautious. Carin was yet ready to tell someone her whole history, it wasn't something she would tell anyone really. Not unless she really trusted the person, and even then she'd still be a little cautious. Carin looked back to him when he started talking again. He was going off again? Carin laughed as he called her 'my sweet'. He was surely over confident, wasn't he. She watched him left back into the garage that he had already disappeared into once since she had been there in that short little time. Julian had bowed while he backed away, she just shook her head at him, holding back the urge to laugh at him. It was good that she was enjoying herself here. She was almost able to forget the last couple of months, it almost made her feel normal again. As he went off into the garage, she couldn't see him anymore so she tried to busy herself while she waited for him to return.
Looking around she noted the track that they had there. She hadn't really looked around the area, she'd been more focused going up to the guy who held the scent she had been smelling for the last couple of days. The track looked fun but dangerous, but this whole sport by what she had heard of was dangerous. People crashed the machines they rode, and a lot if they were being crazy. Her attention was pulled back to the garage, she looked back to see Julian coming back out. He was dressed differently this time. He changed? Carin laughed as she saw his walk that he did as he came back out to her. Julian leaned his tall, slender body against the dirt bike she had just asked about earlier. Carin took in Jule's new appearance, it was nice. More presentable, but it wasn't something that you wore while you worked on anything like what he had been doing before she had come up. He must have been done working for the day. ”Yo no sé. hermano ..my no quizás quiera la idea, especialmente con alguien yo apenas sé.” Carin replied, she was being a little more cautious. Looking at the dirt bike Julian was leaning against, she wondered what would happen if you did wreck it...with two people on it. That would be even more dangerous. But he had said he'd keep her safe. Carin knew he probably could, his scent told her that much that he was exactly like her so he would have the same strength. Even though she knew if they did wreck, she'd be okay. She would heal fast, but it was still dangerous none the less.
Julian leaned out towards her, reaching a hand out towards her. Carin stared at it for a moment. What would really be so bad about going for a ride? She reached her hand out and grabbed his. Carin smiled as she felt the warmth of his hand envelope hers, it was a tad bit warmer than her. Just like her brothers. She smiled sheepishly at him. ”My names Carin.” She took a step closer, Carin's eyes looked down to the dirt bike. ”So uhh...how do you ride this thing exactly?” She asked looking back up to him.

he screams and smiles and he says ---------- I ' M R E A D Y T O G O ----------
Julian already suspected that she would be a bit hesitant. Not many girls were ever up for riding dirt bikes. Most of the people that came here were teenage males and the occasional courageous female. But it wasn't as if she was too scared. Julian could tell that deep within her, was a very strong and adventurous side. And then it hit him once she spoke. Ahh, she's afraid of what her brother would think. That was always the one setback to anything and everything. The second family matters were involved, people would immediately back out. Julian only imagined that her brother must be a very big overprotective person. He didn't mind though. Back home Julian was very protective over his family, especially his younger sister Priscilla. It was the exact same way in this case. A big brother looking out for a younger sister. He respected that. But even then, she didn't seem to need a protective person watching her. So far she had been doing just fine with him. Not that many people had enough courage to speak to a stranger, especially to one that was half naked at one point. No, she was a grown girl. She could fend for herself. If anything she was probably tougher than most girls her age.
Watching as she put forth her hand within his grasp, Julian couldn't help but feel overjoyed. Her hand was small to his in comparison, but it held its own. She was very warm to the touch, but nothing compared to his burning body temperature. It felt nice to feel another person's hand. He had been lonely for a while now, and was in need of some companionship. As he held onto her hand he listened to her ask her very normal question. It was one he got from a lot of new timers. "Well Carin," it felt good to finally know her name, "riding one of these would be like riding a bike, but with an engine." Smiling down at her he continued. "Lucky for you however, you have been awarded with a handsome chauffeur that is going to drive for you, while you have the joy ride you are in desperate need of." Looking around he finally remembered something. "I am so sorry I kept leaving you. Hold on for one second. I need to get us something before we start." Letting go of her hand, which happened to take him a while since he didn't want to let go, he headed back into the garage and returned with two helmets in his hands. Walking back to Carin he placed hers on top of the bike. "Here put this on. I'm not going to make you wear the body suits because I can promise you, you will not fall of of this bike. The helmet's necessary though."
As he slid his over his head, he waited patiently for her to do the same. Once he was sure she had it on correctly he moved closer to her. "Alright you ready?" Moving behind her he swiftly swept her off her feet and placed her on the bike. "Sorry," he chuckled. "It's much more fun for myself to get you up on it like this." Moving so that he was positioned in front of her he straddled the bike and kick started it. Revving the engine a couple of times to make sure it sounded ok, he turned his head to face Carin. "Wrap your arms around my waist. Don't be cautious to grab on tight. I don't need you falling off of this." Once he felt her in a good enough position he inched the bike forward and before speeding off screamed, "vamos!"
The adrenaline a machine gave to a man, was a feeling that most found hard to describe. Julian could never verbalize how much he loved driving fast. It brought out such a good side of him, and always put him in a good mood. Of course he was much more accustomed to doing this in his car, but the bike was a nice surprise. Carin was an even better one though. As he raced on the track he was grateful for having made her put on the helmet. He was sure without it, her hair would be flying all of the place by now. Focusing on each turn, Julian made sure to not go out of control. He kept the pace fast enough for them to feel like they were flying, but he would ease up on the turns to make her see that he wasn't going to act like a crazy person. While he drove on the track, the felling of Carin's arms around him, made him feel very secure. He enjoyed being in the company of others, and this girl turned out to be just what he needed right now. Her hold around him also made him very protective. Her life was literally in his hands, and he wouldn't screw anything up. If he ever hurt her, or for that, any woman, he wouldn't be able to live with himself.
After he had driven around the track a good couple of times he decided to ditch it and entered the forest. The floor was good enough for the tires, and Julian knew that the bike didn't need to be on the dirt for it to work well. Speeding on through he would ask occasional questions like, "You enjoying yourself? Is this too fast? You still alive?" Most of the time, the questions were just made to make her laugh. He wanted to make sure she was having a good time. As long as she was, he was. Once he felt like they had been on the bike long enough, he brought it to a halt and put the kickstand up. Swinging his leg over as to avoid her completely he got on the ground and stretched. Pulling off his helmet he tousled his hair and placed his sunglasses back on. Putting the helmet back on the bike, he lifted Carin off the same way he had put her on. Still standing in front of her, he lifted off her helmet, placed it on the bike, and stood close to her face. He then lifted her chin, placed both hands on both sides of her face, and pushed her hair behind her ears, while he said, "I hope you enjoyed that."
Swiftly he moved back as to give her some space. The last thing he wanted her to think was that he was hitting on her. "So, you want to go exploring?" Julian looked around and was glad the both of them were hidden in this forest. The seclusion made him feel comfortable, and the nature made him feel closer to his mind and body. He noticed that Carin's scent became much stronger in the forest. It sweetness was pulling him in, but he knew he had to refrain. What the heck is going on? It really bothered him that he couldn't figure her out. He was sure there was something different about her. Don't worry, he soothed himself. Just spend this time with her and get to know her. Facing towards her he squinted his eyes. "So, is that a yes, or a no?"

It was kind of ridiculous how overprotective she was being over herself. Julian didn't seem like he could cause any harm at all, he looked like a nice guy. And if she did need something, she had her cell phone in handy in her front pocket. If she needed to, she had another form she could go to, to defend herself. But she would only do that if it was necessary. Carin felt like she had known Julian for awhile, even though she barely had known him for thirty minutes. It was so odd, Carin didn't know what to make of it. Back home, she hadn't really gotten close to anyone. She had her girlfriends from school but any guys? None. She never really saw the point. They were a huge distraction, one that she didn't want to need, seeing as she was as busy as she was. Carin had put forth a lot of energy in her school so she could graduate early, so that she could go to college earlier but guess she wasn't going to college now. At least, until things settled down, when they knew they were going to be okay. It had only been a couple of months, so they wouldn't know yet. They could be very lucky though, and the Volturi wouldn't try to find them again. But as Carin had saw, they loathed there kind. Anyone like her and her brothers. They wanted them all dead, but so far they hadn't succeeded. If they found them here though...what would happen to the others like them? Would they get into it as well or would the Volturi only target the Trespi's? Again all of those thoughts came back to her mind, she shook her head again, pushing the memories back.
Carin took another deep breath, his scent was intoxicating. It had changed when he had came back with the changed clothes. Was it cologne? Probably so, he had probably fixed himself up if he had gotten dressed out of the dirty clothes he had had on for working on the machines there at the Dirt Track. His scent still smelled woodsy, clean and fresh. But it also held the foreign smell that she just couldn't put her finger on. That sent that mingled in with the scents that smelled like her brothers, it was something Carin didn't recognized. Not at all. It was pretty unnerving to her that she couldn't tell what it was from. She was almost tempted to confront him about it. It didn't seem that he was noticing anything yet, maybe he didn't even know what he was yet. She'd just sound like she was crazy if she just came out and asked him if he changed into a wolf in his free time. Yes, that wouldn't exactly be wise to ask. He would definitely think she was crazy if he wasn't. But Carin was almost positive that he was, or would soon be one. Julian could be like Carin was that night that Valorian had come back for her, right on the verge of shifting. She'd have to make sure not to upset him at all if that was the case. She remembered the warnings her brother had given her that night about not getting around him when he started shaking, it could hurt her if he shifted and she was close.
Her hand looked so tiny within his grasp, but it strangely felt good. She stared down at their joined hands for a moment. There skin was almost the same tint, as well. Carin smiled. She looked back up to Julian when he said her name. It sounded so strange to her, she hadn't heard anyone else but her brothers say her name in the longest time. It was a bit enjoyable being around someone new. She listened to him explain about what the dirt bike was like. Carin burst out laughing at his comment about she was lucky because she got a chauffeur. ”So you think your handsome, Julian? Very full of yourself aren't you?” Carin wasn't sure if it was a night she was in desperate need of, but she was kind of thrilled about getting on something new. And being with him made it a little bit better, Carin wasn't sure to like that feeling or not. There hands were still connected when he apologized for keep leaving her here. She noted the reluctance when Julian's hand didn't want to pull away from hers. She smiled to herself. Carin was actually starting to fall for a boy, how strange. And here for all places. Maybe being here would be a good thing for them all, they could make a new start. They wouldn't ever forget what got them here, but they could at least put it behind them and try to go back to normal. Back to a family that they were once. It would take some time, especially since all of the time that the three of the children had spent away from each other. ”Well, I'll be here.” Carin called out as he left to go back into the garage. She wondered what he could be possibly getting now.
Julian came back out with two round things in his hands. She stared at them for a moment, but once he came into view she noticed what they were. ”Helmets? I thought you said it wasn't dangerous? Carin watched how he put his on, to make sure she put hers on right. She didn't want to look like a fool because she couldn't put on a helmet. Carin picked up the helmet and flipped it over, pulling back the strap that kept the helmet from slipping back off your head. Shoving it on her head, she adjusted it. It actually fit nicely, which was probably a good thing. She assumed it was better if it fit right than it being loose. ”Yeah I'm ready as I'll ev--” Her words were cut short as Julian had swept her off her feet, literally. But she wasn't in his arms too long before he had went and sat her on the dirt bike. Just like a bike, as he said. ”Ummm well that was unexpected.” Carin said after a moment, looking up at Julian. He was taller now, as she was sitting on the dirt bike. ”Well I guess if its fun for you, then its alright with me.” Carin grinned at Julian before he had sat in front of her. He got himself settled. Julian turned his head around so she could see him a bit. He told her to wrap her arms around him as so she could stay on it. ”Well, your the expert here.” Her grin was barely visible with the helmet on. Carin wrapped her arms around him, held on a little tight but not too tight. She didn't want to squeeze him to death. Her arms were tightly in place when he started the bike off. She peered her head around his body to see what was going on.
The feeling of being on this was fantastic; it was almost better than driving fast or running real fast when she was a wolf. A grin stayed plastered to her face the whole time they kept going around the track, and it seemed he was taking it easy so they wouldn't tip it over. The wind hitting her face, well what wasn't covered by the helmet felt nice. Though she had wished she would have wore some glasses, the dust was getting into her eyes. She kept her eyes almost all the way closed, as to try and keep out the dust. Anytime that Julian asked her if she was alright, or was it too fast, or if she was still alive, made her laugh for awhile. He was so courteous. After only going around the track for a few times, Julian headed the dirt bike out into the woods. Once it had gotten off of the Dirt Track, Carin's arms held onto him a little bit better. It was rougher out in the woods. All the trees down and stuff, it was surely to be dangerous. By the time that they had stopped, they were well into the woods. It all looked the same, it was easy to get lost in these woods if you didn't know your way. Carin scooted herself back as Julian got off of the bike first. She just stared at him for a moment, a thing she was starting to do now. It was kind of hard not to look at him. Before she could even move again, he had picked her up again and had taken off her helmet. Carin laughed, ”Are you ever going to let me do anything for myself, Julian?” She said as he placed her helmet on the dirt bike. It shocked her when he stood so close to her and his big, warm hand had grabbed her chin and pulled it up. One of her eyebrows arched as she questioned what he was doing. His palms were on her cheeks now, and one hand went to push back some of her stray hair behind her ears. Carin could feel her cheeks getting hot, hotter than normal with his closeness. It was like he was going to move in for a kiss. ”I...I did.”
All too soon, he had moved away in a flash, leaving a shocked Carin standing beside the dirt bike, with a blush on her cheeks. Carin was still in a bit of shock, it taken him to ask her a second time whether it was a yes or no to going exploring in the woods. She collected herself as fast as she could, ”Uh...yeah. Exploring would be good. Do you know the area well?” Julian had covered his eyes up again with his sunglasses. A thing she should have brought with her as well. Though the sun was barely out, especially where they were at now. The trees covered up most of the sun with their tree tops. Carin smirked and started walking off. ”So, how long have you been out here Julian? I haven't noticed you around...” Her voice was going off in the distance as she got further away from him, she jumped easily of a fallen log. Landing on her feet on the other side, she turned around, a big grin on her face. ”Are you coming or what, slow poke?” Carin called out, smiling at the guy she barely knew, yet though she felt like she had known him for years.

It was a surprise to hear her ask him whether or not he knew the area well enough. Of course the answer was no, but he didn't want to dissapoint her, and or make her feel scared and lost. Even though he felt he should tell her the truth, he realized something. There was no need for him to tell her he didn't know the forests like the back of his hand. Luckily for him, he had the tracking senses of, of, well, of a jaguar. He could definitely remember his surroundings right now with no problem, and later when they wanted to leave, he'd sniff around until he found the bike again. It was obvious of course, that he couldn't tell her this. Only his family knew what he was, and even though she seemed like a great and genuine person, Julian knew better than to spill secrets. He had always, ever since he was younger, had a hard time trusting people. It took a good while before he would ever feel comfortable enough to trust in someone. Yet, there was this strange feeling about Carin. Jule wasn't necessarily sure as to why, but he felt as if he had known her his entire life. She felt like someone he could trust, and he knew that somewhere within her, that she shared the same feelings toward him. Despite that fact however, he decided to be safe about what he said. "Don't wory about a thing. I know it pretty well, and I'm good at finding my way back. He also quickly added in. "Plus, there's really no such thing as getting lost, it's called discovering new places." He woulnd't mention however, that he was glad he was discovering it with her.
Facing her he watched as she began walking. Following somewhat closely behind her, he listened to her question and pondered over the response he would give. "Well I haven't been here that long, so it makes sense that you haven't seen me around. I moved into Forks not to long ago for uh...personal reasons. I'm actually here to learn about some things, but I need to visit La Push soon." Hopefully she would be pleased with that answer. He tried to be as discreet and as subtle as possible. The poor girl would think he was a weirdo if he said that he was here to learn about shape-shifting wolves. He was positive she knew nothing about creatures like him, and the last thing he needed was to scare the living crap out of her. It was then that a cloud of unhappiness enveloped his mind. If something were to happen between them in the future, would she be able to accept who he was? He remembered how hard it had been for his best friend Ricardo. It literally almost took him a full year to understand and accept Jule's new being. Of course if something did happen he wouldn't keep it a secret from her. As long as he was able to trust her like he did his family, he would be as truthful as possible. If she couldn't handle it he'd understand. Until then however, he would keep it to himself. No need to drap her into the craziness that was his life.
Was she being serious? Julian couldn't help but let out a small laugh. She had called him a slow poke? Oh if only she knew how fast he could actually be. He was astonished to see her jump off a fallen tree's trunk and land with such gracefullness. She couldn't be......could she? Oh shut up you idiot! There's no way in hell. But the way she had landed was still a shock to him. It was possible than any other human could land the jump, but Julian had sensed a swiftness about it. He noticed that there was something different about her movement. Being around many people, Jule knew well how others functioned when they moved. Regular people weren't as blessed with gracefulness and quicknesss. Only he was sure that he could move fast without crashing into things, or jump from heights that would kill a normal person, and not die. Shaking his head he decided to put the thought off. There was no way she could be anything more than what Julian knew her to be.
"Que," he asked with a joking tone. "Did you just call me a slow poke?" Instinctively Julian took on the words as a challenge and ran after her. Leaping off the trunk he landed on the ground in one swift movement. Casually walking it off as if the jump was meerly nothing he picked up a rock off the ground and launched it into the air. Continuing on his way with her a couple of feet behind him, he decided to iniatiate a conversation. "So, what about you? Have you been here long?" Julian already had a feeling she spent some time in La Push cause she smelled so much like the forests there. Deciding to put himself on a high again, he took in a breath and allowed her smell to course it's way through his body. He couldn't explain why, but it was the most delicious thing he had ever taken a whiff off. She was surely something amazing and out of this world. --------------------------------------------------

Being out in the woods here was one of Carin's new favorite hobbies. Though, that had been about the only thing she could go and do for awhile, was explore the woods around the surrounding towns. They hadn't always had the house, they had just recently gotten it. It still wasn't even fully furnished yet, just only had the furniture they needed. Valorian had bought the house with the furniture that had been inside of it. Carin wasn't too bothered by it, all she cared about was having a real bed to sleep on, a shower to use, and a refrigerator that held human cooked food. Not food that she had to...kill. Killing things still revolted her to no end, but that had been what about half or more of her meals had consisted of. Valorian said it was natural instinct for them, and that if you just let your instincts take over, it wasn't so bad. He had been true in that at least, and Carin was thankful for that. She didn't ever want to have to go and kill another animal for food ever again, she'd much prefer the food she could get at a store, ones that she could properly cook. A shudder took over Carin's body as she had stood there waiting for Julian at the thought of eating raw food again. It was so unappealing to her, she think she would rather starve than have to eat it again. Now that would be a very bad choice, to starve herself because she was too stubborn to eat raw meat again, but if it ever came to it again...she probably would eat the stuff again. Only because she had to though.
Trusting this guy would take a little bit of time, that was if she even saw him again after today. Maybe he had just been being polite. That could always be. Just asked her to come with him to be nice. Well either way, she enjoyed the company for however long it lasted. Carin was going to have to watch her words carefully because she could feel herself easing up around him and something from her past could easily slip though that she'd rather keep to herself, or at least until she knew she could trust him well enough. Would they even get that far into a relationship though? It didn't help the entire situation that she felt like she had known this guy her entire life when she had really only known him for maybe thirty minutes or so, maybe more. Carin wasn't sure how much time had passed from when they were on the dirt bike. It could have been an hour or two minutes, her sense of time was a bit off lately. It was unnerving, but it wasn't like she had to be anywhere at any specific time, now was it? Nope. Once it started to get dark, she'd head home then but until then, she was staying where she was. Carin had almost forgot what it was like to socialize with people, she hadn't done it in quite some time. Only talked with her brothers, and that's about it. Now try having that for about four months, you'd go insane. Carin knew she was on the verge of it, so this was a needed day. Even if it was with a complete stranger. It made her almost feel like old times, back when her family had been whole and not broken up from what they now were.
Carin let out a laugh, it was beginning to be a common thing today. He made her laugh so easily. “Discovering new places? Well that's one I haven't heard. So are we planning on discovering new places today until its completely dark and we don't know where we are or...we actually going to know our way around?” She teased lightly, smirking at Julian. It was easy to smile around him. By now, Julian had started to follow behind her but he was yet a ways away from her. Turning her head slightly back towards him so that some of her voice would project out to him, she began talking. ”To Forks?” She paused, that was so odd. He lived in Forks...with him being what he was? How was that really possible? He had to have come across their scent at least once, you'd think. But maybe he had been an antisocial butterfly and only came to work. That could be very true, since he was new and everything. He didn't know many people, so wouldn't have much of a social life. Well...neither did she. She'd been more or less cooped up the last couple of months, keeping away from people. Though that was them all being cautious. ”Any specific reason why you are going to La Push, I know it more than I do Forks. I don't go there.” Carin asked causally as Julian gained more ground on her.
Her calling him a slow poke had been the right term at the moment, he was being a slow poke. She was way ahead of him, and probably have jumped that log a little too easily. Carin had gained a little more grace with this new life she had started. It was quite nice actually, she was able to hike and all that stuff a lot more with ease without having to worry about really falling. She'd catch herself before she fell. Carin laughed as he questioned what she had said. ”Did I stutter? I said you were a slow poke.” She called back, but moments after she could hear the picking up of his feet as he started to catch up to her. Carin had looked back just as he had made his jump over the log as she had, she smiled. He was poised as well, another reason why Carin was thinking she was right on the whole matter that he was just like her. Julian had gained on her, she wasn't yet ready to try and run it back off. A rock had launched itself from behind her, she jumped lightly at the loud smack that came after it from when it finally hit something, probably a tree. ”Show off.” Carin muttered out, rolling her eyes slightly at him. She thought about his question, making sure to answer it carefully, not giving something away, not yet at least. ”My older brother...Valorian. He moved us out here. And my other brother, he's older than me too. Dante's a bit...antisocial. Some things happened back where we lived, he isn't the same anymore really.” As the final words left her mouth, a big grin was plastered on her face. She knew she was fast, she had been much faster than her brothers had been. Probably faster than him as well, they'd see. Carin started running, catching up with him easily. She winked at him as she passed, waving once she was ahead of him.
”So Julian!” Carin turned her head around, kept running straight. From what she had seen there hadn't been anything in the way, at least not for a bit. There looked like there might be a drop off up ahead but it was probably just the ground slopping down. Carin continued on, ”...in your spare time do you come into the woods and turn into a furry animal? Carin just blurted it out, she couldn't help herself. She was dying to know if she was right. In the nature she had said it and the look on her face though, it could be read as a joke in case she was wrong. But she highly doubted that she was wrong. Not about this.

Carin was beginning to come into her own. It surprised Julian how much of a smart mouth she actually was. He didn't mind of course. It was always fun to hang out with an adorable girl that proved to be very independent. He took her older question to thought as he continued on his way. Were they going to be here until nightfall? Julian wasn't very sure. Of course right now all he could focus on was the present. He didn't want to think ahead in the future, cause all it meant was them having to leave, and most likely him not being able to see her again. It always hurt to say goodbye to someone you just met and felt a strong connection with. He'd have to do it though, sooner or later. He had originally thought his response was very clever, but lucky for him he was in the presence of a cunning, well to put it, an adorable smart...uhhh...butt. Jule wouldn't voice his opinion though, she was sure to kick his ass if he did. He wouldn't dare fight back, he had been raised to never hit a woman. He himself had gone through his share of abuse from women. Like most men knew, the typical "I hate you and I'm never speaking to you again," followed by a slap in the face. Of course Julian was never in a position to ever deserve that type of abuse, but what could he say? Females were very complicated creatures to decode. One false move, and wham, there went your groin.
It wasn't until her heard her question him again that he snapped out of it. "Uh, yeah" he quickly said. "Forks." Listening to her follow up, he found it hard to try to find a way to work around not telling her. Since it was going to be very hard he remained silent for a moment and then continued. "My dad, uh, came from La Push. I pretty much just came up to see where he grew up as a child. I know it sounds weird, but just trust me on this one." Deciding he should get a question in he added. "Why don't you go to Forks?" It didn't seem to make any sense. Julian was sure that people went from La Push to Forks and vice versa on a daily basis. Unless it was a matter concerning family then there shouldn't be a reason why she hadn't been there already. "If you like, I could bring you there." There he went off on his kindness spree. It wasn't his fault. He wanted to be able to see her more, and if a trip to Forks is what it took, then so be it. They'd drive around that boring town and have the time of their lives.
Show off? Was that seriously what she had said? Julian almost wanted to fall to the floor and laugh. All he had done was chucked a rock. What guy doesn't do that? Before he decided to complete the action of falling down and laughing, he changed his mind. She had muttered it thinking he wouldn't hear. Julian had to act like a normal human being. Ugh, what was I thinking? Only guys on steroids could throw something that far, and only animals could hear that well. He was sure she took notice to it. Close call douche-bag. Laughing to her remark would prove how good of a sense of hearing he had. It was hard trying to not be half of himself around her. He wanted desperately for her to know what he was, but he couldn't be too open about it. A sense of caution was definitely needed. He barely knew anything about her for gods sake! How was he already feeling like he could trust her? It was ridiculous. Anyone would have thought it was a stupid call, but Julian couldn't help but thinking otherwise. He felt there was something unique about her too, and well if there was, then he shouldn't have to be so careful around her.
Even though he was way ahead of her, they were speaking loudly enough for each other to hear. While she talked about her brothers, Julian kept his thoughts to himself. Valorian and Dante? God those sound like menacing freaking names. Don't wanna mess with them. Wait she just recently got here too? Then why the hell does she smell so much like she's been here her entire life? I am so confused. Whoa wait....hold up...something happened to them? Like what? Ughh there is so much I need to learn about her!!! Mierda!!! He would definitely bring it up later as they got further in the woods. The last thing he needed right now was for her to spill her entire history. Replying with a simple "Well that sounds interesting, you must tell me more," he continued at his regular pace. Suddenly he could hear something gaining on him. Turning around he watched as she sped by him. Her little wink really turned him on, and in an instant he realized that there was definitely something up with her. Who the hell would run that fast right now?
Deciding to keep up with her he ran and met up with her quickly. "Don't underestimate how fast I can catch up carida" It was nice to keep in sync with her. They're running was purely exhilarating, and Julian didn't mind watching her gorgeous legs move in those shorts. He wouldn't dare stare at her butt though. He detested men that gawked over women. As they continued both we're able to avoid things such as branches and twigs, and he also noticed that the pace was effortless for them. At this point any normal person would stop to breathe, but no not them. All of the things she did made Julian question her even more. It was driving him insane. He'd have to find out. Now. Turning his head to the side while he kept up the running pace he began to open his mouth, only to be interrupted by her question. ”...in your spare time do you come into the woods and turn into a furry animal? Without realizing he answered with a "No, more like a slick haired animal."
Instantaneously he stopped dead in his tracks. His mouth went agape, and his eyes bulged out of his sockets. Did she just ask what I think she asked? It all hit him too quickly. She knows. She would definitely have to know. How in the world would someone just randomly ask him that, without knowing the existence of shape-shifters? But how could she have known? He hadn't morphed in front of her, and he was sure he hadn't said anything that would leave her to believe he was one. It was all way too much to handle. His mind was going out of control. It hurt to think, and it definitely hurt to know that he had answered the question just like that. Julian couldn't believe he had just let her in on his secret. He hoped with all his sole that she took it was a joke. Maybe she has asked to just be funny. Maybe his response could have been taken as a joke. Either way, everything seemed upside down at the moment, and to make it worse, something terrible was about to happen.
Looking back up, his heart began to frantically beat. Carin hadn't realized he had stopped, and she also hadn't realized that she was about to run and fall into a drop in the ground. It was very visible from where he was, and he was most certain she wasn't paying attention to it. Why was everything happening so quickly right now? Julian was on the verge of puking. He didn't know why, but everything just made him feel nauseous and sick. She knew what he was, and she was about to kill herself. Realizing that she was putting herself in danger, Julian bolted towards her. "Carin!" he screamed as loud as he possibly could. The wind burned against his face, but his legs kept pushing forward. Every muscle in his body was being worked to the utmost extent. She was only a few feet from it now. Pushing himself as hard as he could, he managed to reach her just in time. Hitting her right side on an angle he wrapped his left arm around her waist, and cradled her head with his right hand. Pushing off of the ground, both of their bodies lifted into the air. He hoped to god he hadn't hurt her by doing this.
As their bodies flew through the air, Julian positioned himself underneath her. Closing his eyes, he prayed to god the fall wasn't that deep. Then, when he opened them, they were on the ground. Julian's body hit with such force that he indented the earth beneath him. As he looked, he was glad to see Carin on top of him. There would be no way he could ever forgive himself if he landed on top of her. His left hand was still around her waist, and his right began stroking her hair as to help her remain calm. All he could ask was, "are you ok?" before he blacked out.

It was true that Carin was being a little smart towards Julian, but it was in her nature. Kind of an added personality trait here of late, her attitude had done a bit of changing when her brothers had disappeared. She had grown even more curious than she used to. And it was ever showing here, why she had followed the smell. It was something new but it smelled so familiar, she had been very curious as to who it belonged to. It was crazy that she had actually like...stalked him. Carin wasn't so sure that he'd take to that well. Maybe, if she was right, and he actually admitted to the truth of it, she'd later tell him. Probably end up asking why he hadn't smelt her and asked her about it. It was crazy that he wouldn't have known what she was, but maybe he hadn't come up on anyone else like him. That would be reason enough not to know what his kind smelled like, how you could tell them apart from the humans...even vampires. Vampires smelled god awful, like death. It burned your lungs whenever you had to breath in there smell, they didn't have the small advantage of not having to breath if you didn't want to. The shifters were alive, and not dead. Nor did they feed off of humans, like the vampires did. The two creatures were alike though in many ways, like they were both fast, immortal, and strong. It was crazy that the two were almost so alike, but yet so different. Sworn enemies. One thing that Carin had wondered about was, what had started the whole feud. How had they all been created, in a sense.
Carin noticed that he didn't answer her question about how late they'd be out, it made her smile just the slightest. Carin had a feeling he wanted to spend that time with her, and not think about leaving. Or at least that's what she hoped he was feeling. She also hoped he was enjoying her company as much as she was his. Maybe they'd have to try this again, but do something different. Carin could always ask for him to teach her how to ride that dirt bike that had come in on. Hmmm, that wasn't a half bad idea. She had liked the ride that they had shared, though she was pretty confident that she would somehow wreck the machine the first time she got on it. It would be just her luck. Finally Julian had been pulled out not speaking after her second question had been asked. It was so weird how easily they were talking to one another, they were acting like they had known each other for a long time. Though, Julian seemed to be just as cautious as she was trying to be. Thinking through his words, like she was doing. When he asked her why she didn't go to Forks, she paused for a moment. Quickly regaining her footstep, she spoke her words cautiously as she had before. “My...older brother, he had a conflict there with someone. So I haven't went there. I would rather not go around there.” Carin told him, her words partly guarded. It was still the truth, just not all the details of it. ”Julian, I don't think that would be wise. And I don't even know what my brothers would think about it...he never really mentioned it. So...no. But thanks anyways.” Carin gave him a sheepish grin.
It had been nice of Julian to offer to take her to Forks, but really she would rather not go to the place. She knew of the Cullen's being there, and knew they were different yes. But there were others there, she had heard that much from her brothers because of the others like them there. They knew of others vampires that were not residing in Forks. Carin didn't much like vampires, she didn't loath them as much as her brothers did. At least, not ones that hadn't done anything to her or her family, but the ones that had, like the Volturi, she loathed just as much as her brothers did. But still, she didn't want to go to Forks and just happen to run into one. She would try to be civil, and try to get away from them as fast as possible, but they might not be the same. So it was best that she just did not go there. Julian's voice pulled her out of her mind, she smiled sheepishly at him again. Carin really needed to stop letting her mind wander off when she was around others. ”Maybe. We'll see. I'm sure you'll just find it a bore.” Carin said offhandedly, trying to make the subject of her brothers and why she was here very dull. But it was the opposite, at least that's what she thought. He might have thought different, if she ever told him. Her words had come out before she had decided to speed up and run ahead of him, she loved the challenge of racing. Carin already knew she was fast, but she didn't push herself as hard as she could have. She'd gotten much better at running and could go for longer distances than she used to. But they had all been on the run, so that would account for part of it.
A grin was plastered on her face still even as she heard him speed up as well, easily catching up with her. She enjoyed running out here in the woods she did it often, and now she didn't even have to worry about the cuts she would be getting from the branches and weeds that were sticking up and hitting her bare legs. ”Don't underestimate how fast I can run.” She pushed her legs faster, just enough to make herself faster than him to be a bit more ahead of him. Carin had been waiting for his reply about what he did in his free time, it really had been her just bluntly asking if he was like her. It had almost shocked her that he had actually come out so bluntly about it as well. ”W-what? Slick haired...why?” His answer had thrown her off but she kept her footing this time. A slick haired animal? But...wolves were kind of furry, weren't they? All the ones she had seen were, so what did he mean by slick haired? Carin stared intently at him, only quickly glancing in front of her. She hadn't even noticed that he had stopped dead in his tracks. Carin stared at him oddly, why did he stop? Julian bolted forward quick, catching her off surprise. He had even shouted her name. She looked back in front of her, what she had thought just slopped down into a hill was actually a drop off. To stop herself when she was already running pretty fast without running straight into something would be hard, especially in the wet, damp woods they were in. If she missed a stride too, she'd biff it.
Before she even could put much more thought into it, a force hit her side and she felt a warmer arm grabbing tightly around her waist. They hadn't been in air for too long, gravity forcing both of their bodies back down to the earth. Julian had slammed into the ground first and Carin hit him with a hard thud. ”Ughhh. I did not even see that coming.” She shook her head and looked back up from where they had just come from. [color681C19]“Julian...you really shouldn't have. I...well I would have been okay.”[/color] She was sure of it, her brother had taken a worse tumble way back when and he healed from it. But that was before they had even know what they were going to be turning in, in later years. Carin was very conscious of Julian's left hand still around her waist and his right hand stroking her hair. Was he trying to calm her? “I...I'm fine. But are you? Julian?” Carin was more worried about him, he was the one who had taken the hit, not her. No, she had had something soft...well semi-soft to land on. Then his body all went limp, she stared at him. ”Julian?” She reached one of her hands and shook his shoulder. This wasn't what she had been planning at all to happen out of the day. Carin tore his sunglasses off and threw them off to the side. Putting her fingers on his jugular, she could still feel a pulse, relief washed over her. He was at least alive. But he wasn't responding to her words, his eyes were close. It took her a few moments to realize that he'd passed out, or blacked out. She looked back up from where they had fallen, it had been quite a drop. Looking back down at him, her eyes were wide. “Julian! Wake up! Julian!” Carin shouted. She was still a top him, shaking him with her hands. Carin leaned into him, putting a hand on the side of his face.

he screams and smiles and he says ---------- I ' M R E A D Y T O G O ----------
It felt warmer here, that much Julian was aware of. The weather was pleasant, the kind he knew back home and was fond of. Everything was peaceful and quiet. He could hear his name being called, but the voice didn't come from whom he was expecting it to come from. He thought you were supposed to meet your relatives or friends in heaven. Not people you just met. Carin's sweet soprano voice rang throughout his head. Oh god, he thought. I killed her didn't I? He could see the scene from moments ago lay out before him. The both of them in the air, him landing on the ground, and then blackness. What if she had died? No one would have ever survived that kind of fall. Well no one but a shape-shifter of course. He was much stronger than anyone he knew, and his wounds easily healed given a short amount of time. So then why did he feel as if he was dead? He sure as hell couldn't be, but maybe Carin was. He couldn't even think about it without his heart wrenching. No, he assured himself. She can't be dead. She landed on you. The thought put him in a state of panic. He could feel his lips moving, and he could somewhat hear himself speaking, but nothing else. His eyes wouldn't open, and his body couldn't move. What the hell is going on? He had never felt so weak in his entire life. Well maybe that was a lie. He had felt this weak once, when he was five years old. In that instant his left leg began to hurt and he began to scream for his grandfather. Abuelito, his lips called. Abuelito ayúdeme! Was he really calling for his grandfather? He couldn't tell. All he knew, was that he needed to wake up before he was trampled by the same horse that had claimed his leg once many years ago.
Opening his eyes, he could feel a warm sensation all over his body, and on his face. What was doing this? He knew he was already warm blooded, but not this much. Slightly moving his head, he could feel a hand brush by his cheek. Looking up he couldn't help but smile. There was an angel right in full view. Her beautifully carved face with full lips made him almost faint. He could see that her piercing blue eyes were filled with worry. What's wrong, he wanted to ask her. Why was her face in such a state of panic? Deciding to lift his upper body up, he propped himself upon his elbows. Allowing his head some time to remember his surroundings, he let out a small breath. Then, taking his left hand, he grabbed the angel's hand and held it in his. Kissing it tenderly he placed it back down and gave her a very charming smile. "Why the worried face?" He was well aware she probably already knew what he was, there was no need for him to fake an injury. If she knew shifters well, then she'd know that they were fast healers. He could remember her now. It was Carin, the lovely girl he had been with all day. Thank god she's not dead. Moving his head so that both their foreheads were touching he exhaled. "Hold on a second," he told her. "Just need to regain some strength." It helped to keep his head rested on hers. He could feel the blood rushing back with an intensity.
Pulling his head back he decided to sit up straight with his legs still on the ground. Carin was still sitting on him, and for a moment, he could feel the heat radiating off her skin. Why was she so hot? Could it have been because maybe she was panicking not too long ago? No that couldn't be it. People usually became cold as statues when they were shocked. So then why did she feel almost, almost... almost as hot as him? Holy crap! No, there was no way. Well actually yes there was a way. What if she was a shifter too? Julian had thought about it for a long second. Maybe she had asked him that question, because she herself was one and had come upon him to check him out. It would make sense that her scent was so appealing and yet very similar to his. He could feel a connection between them, and he was sure of this connection from the moment he saw her. I mean common, his mind pressed. She's on fire, she asked if you changed into a furry animal, she didn't die when she came crashing to the ground like you, and she was from Mexico as well. Maybe she became a shifter the same way he had when he was sixteen. It was all too much. He could feel his brain ready to explode. Julian had fought too hard for this side of him to be kept a secret. Why then, did it feel like he was failing? No, his heart fought. Julian you're not failing yourself. She's like you, and you know it. Forget your sense of judgment for one second and just listen to your feelings. You may have just met her today, but there's a chemistry between the both of you. You know her more than you think Julian. Just give her a chance.
It was hard for him to try to side with his heart. Julian never trusted anyone, especially people he just met. What he couldn't fight though, was the fact that he felt as if he really and truly did know Carin. Something had just clicked between them, and it was for this reason he decided to was now or never. Pulling slowly up from underneath her, she stood tall and shook off the dirt from his clothes. Reaching down with his hand he waited until she would grab it. Once he was sure he felt her hand, he helped her up from off the floor. Turning around with his head down, Julian tried as hard as he could to push the words out of his mouth. "Stay right here." It was harder to say than what he had imagined. "I'll be right back." It was with that, that he left Carin standing there by herself and disappeared into the shadows of the forest. When he would come back, he wouldn't be what she expected to see returning.

Right now, Carin was thinking that this day wasn't going so great as she had planned it to be. Well, she hadn't exactly planned anything for the day other than meeting the shifter that the smell belonged to, she never thought she'd actually spend some time with the person, nor enjoy it. Maybe she was only enjoying it so much because she had needed some outside company. She hadn't had much of anyone to talk to but her brothers and that was a little stressed, certain things could be mentioned without either making one of them uncomfortable, angry, or just sad. So it was hard to really talk, it didn't help that they weren't as close as they used to. Valorian and Dante were will pretty close, but not as much as they had been. Carin hadn't been around either one of her brothers in a long time, they had just been thrown back into her life. Yes, she loved them and all but it was hard getting to know them once again, they had all changed in their own ways. But it would soon be all worked out again, it'd just take some time before that happened. They all had to get over the death of their parents, who knew how long that would take. It'd been only a few months, but it still felt like everything had just happened yesterday. At least the nightmares of her parents dying in front of her eyes had finally stopped, Carin was at least able to get some sleep at night now without waking up multiple times, trying to stop herself from screaming and alerting her brothers. They would think something was wrong, like someone was there. That wasn't something Carin wanted to happen. She remembered the one night she had screamed out from a bad dream. Carin could have laughed her ass off as her brother burst through the door, if it hadn't been so serious. She explained, and he nodded. They understood, they all had something they dealt with.
Now everything was going to be different. Or at least they all hoped, a new scene was nice to them all. Didn't hold any hurtful memories, as their place back in Italy now did. Was it even still there? Had Valorian sold it off? Carin didn't know, nor had she really asked. He would take care of it, it wasn't like none of them could ever go back to that place, only way they probably could would be killing all the vampires from the Volturi. There were many of them, probably more than they had even seen when they had gotten in there and there was only three of them. It would probably never happen, Carin just hoped she didn't have to be on the run always. Hopefully, just maybe, the Volturi would leave them alone. They weren't bothering them, they had no reason to cause them harm at all, none of the Trespi children had ever knew that vampires existed. They all thought they were just characters from their father's stories, stories that seemed ever so real now. Were probably real, from their parents past. Only a little bit of that past had been reviled to them, the basics they knew was their parents were from Mexico, where they had phased and imprinted, then fled to Italy because of the vampire wars there, where they proceeded to have a life and start a family there. They had thought their past lives had left them, but they had been wrong.
A lot of things raced through Carin's mind as she looked at the lifeless body of Julian, he had blacked out for sure because he still had a pulse, he wasn't dead. The pulse was strong too, so that was good. It comforted her in the slightest. The comfort was very minimal. Julian began to mumble out things in Spanish, calling out to someone. His grandfather? Julian must have taken a hard fall. All Carin could do now was finally wait for him to fully come around, it seemed as if he was starting to. Wouldn't be too much longer, and if it was, she'd actually probably have to get him out of where they were and to a hospital or something. A sigh of relief passed through Carin's lips as she saw his eyes open. She resisted the urge to slap him real hard for nearly giving her a heart attack in the first place for blacking out on her. ”Julian, are you okay? You took quite a fall...” Carin trailed off, looking from where they had been running and back down to where they had landed. He started to get up slightly, with the one hand that was still rested on his shoulder, she tried to push him back down but it was a failed effort. He sat up anyways. Carin hadn't realized that her hand was still on his cheek until his hand grabbed hers again like he had before back at the garage. He brought it to his lips and kissed it tenderly. Carin just stared at him. ”Why the worried face? Why the worried face!?” Carin screeched out at him. “I really wonder why Julian. Oh, maybe because you just fell from all the way up there down here, and landed with all your weight plus mine and blacked out maybe? Her eyes were wide now, staring at him. ”Okay, you are delusional, you took a hard fall Julian.” She told him, staring at him intently. Julian had fully sat up, and strangely enough Carin was still in his lap. She was almost too shocked and mad to move. He shouldn't of jumped after her, she would have been okay. Maybe a broken leg if she had just went off mid air, but it would have healed, really. He leaned his forehead against hers, she didn't pull back. “Why are you warmer than me, anyways?” She asked, the warmth that came off of him was much hotter than hers was. Maybe it came with age? Who knew.
Carin rolled her eyes at him. “I can imagine you need to do so.” She paused, resisting the urge to shake her head. “I'm torn at being touched at your actions or being mad at you. Why did you go after me...you could have really hurt yourself. I would have been fine.” Carin told him plain out, she knew what he was. He had to be a shifter from taking that fall and living, if not then he sure did have someone looking out for him. Julian pulled back, and got up. Carin sat on the ground looking up at him, what was he doing. He should relax for a little bit longer, at least more than the thirty seconds he just took. When he reached out a hand, she took it pulling herself up. She didn't need the help, but it was nice. “Where do you expect me to go, really?” Carin paused as she watched him turn and leave to go into the woods. ”Wait, Julian! Where are you going?” And there he left her. Maybe she should just wait.

he screams and smiles and he says ---------- I ' M R E A D Y T O G O ----------
As he walked off into the distance, Julian coulnd't help but remember the things Carin had just yelled at him for. Was she really that upset he had saved her? Why would anyone be upset about that? He literally had saved her life, and yet she was ticked off at him for doing so. He couldn't register it within his mind. Anyone on the face of this planet would usually be grateful if someone had saved them from flying off a steep drop. Carin however, seemed to react in a completely different way. She told him that she would have been fine. Would have been fine? Yeah, if she was stronger than a regular human being! Julian had known that if he took the fall for the both of them, nothing bad would happen because he wouldn't die. He had been in various situations where danger stared him straight in the face, and no matter what odds, he just wouldn't die. But now, for some reason, Carin was angry at him, and very certain about the fact that she would have survived. Her lash out simply made Julian realize more that maybe she was a shifter. If she was of course, she would have survived that without his help. Well it's not your fault she's upset, his mind pressed. When you had knocked her off the cliff with you, you still thought she was human. His mind was absolutely right. The only reason he had tried to protect her was because he thought she was still ONLY human at that point in time. If he knew she was anything else, of course he'd still try, but at least he would know that she'd make it, even if he didn't get to her in time. He had risked his life, because he had still thought that she was nothing more than a human. There was no reason for her to be mad at him. If she realized and tried to understand, then maybe she'd get it sooner or later. But for now, he'd have to deal with her being mad at him. For no reason, his mind devilishly added.
Just when he found the perfect spot to hide in, he had heard her scream after him. "Just hold on," he yelled back. "I'll be right there, I promise." As he began taking off his clothes, he thought over how he would enter in on her. There was no way he could just come back a jaguar. She would scream her lungs off and try to run away. They weren't native to this area at all. He wouldn't be able to talk to her once he was one either, so if she freaked, he wouldn't be able to tell her it was himself. It was then that Julian really hated the fact he had to get unchanged. If only I could phase with clothes on, he thought. Julian was sure it would make this power much easier if morphing between beings allowed you to have clothes on. But, instead, it had to shred your clothes the second you morphed. Every power had to have its glitch, this one however, really sucked. Once everything on his torso was removed, he slid off his sneakers and took off his socks. The floor was very cool in comparison with his body. It was nice from time to time to feel how crisp and cool the world could be. Standing there to absorb the cold before it disappeared, Jule began thinking as to how he was going to show Carin this. Sliding off his jeans he stood in the woods with only his boxer-briefs on. If any woman was to walk past him at this moment, there was no way they wouldn't be turned on. Julian's rock hard thighs tensed as he bent down to fold his clothes into a little pile. Lifting himself back up he placed them within the needles and leaves of a bush. Taking both arms he put them on his head and tried to push back any uncertainties. This was what he had to do. Do or die, as his mind let out it. Well here goes nothing.
Walking back in Carin's direction, he prayed to god she didn't think he was about to violate her. It was reasonable thinking of course. He had left her with clothes on, and now he was coming back half naked. Any woman would put two and two together, and think that he was about to do something inappropriate. Of course, Jule wasn't that type of guy, nor had he ever been. No girl, besides soon to be Carin, had ever seen him half naked unless they had spent a reasonable amount of time with him. He never undressed himself unless the girl was comfortable about it, and would never try to violate a woman. While his feet slowly inched themselves forward, Julian tried to imagine what it would be like if any one of her brothers decided to check up on her at this moment. Ooh, he thought. Bad mental picture. He was more than sure that they'd try to rip him in half. Jule wouldn't blame them. If he had walked in on his sister with a guy that was half naked, he'd want to kill him too. Stopping right in his tracks, Julian began to freak out. It was hard for him to try to go through with this. On one hand he was about to show her his secret, on the other, she might freak out before he even got the chance to. Stop worrying Julian, his heart fought out. She's not going to leave. Go show her. She needs to know. It was really annoying when his heart was always right. Continuing forward he was on the edge of stepping back into the clearing they were in. Taking a deep breath he stopped and then exhaled. Thinking it through, he finalized that giving her a warning first would be a good idea. "Carin," he fought out. "I'm going to walk back in, but please don't freak out. There's something I need to show you, so please don't move."
Stepping into the clearing with his boxer-briefs on, he could see her clearly. He was sure she was probably confused out of her mind. Who wouldn't be? Taking a couple of steps he stopped about ten feet in front of her. Watching her, he couldn't help but feel very connected to her. This was going to be the first person, besides his family, to know that he was a jaguar. It was kind of erotic and sensual in his mind. Not in a perverted sense of course, but in a spiritual kind of sense. In a way, he felt as if he was sharing piece of his soul with her. He was letting her discover a side of him that most would never know about as long as they lived. His heart began racing, and he was sure his cheeks were bright red. She would probably think he was embarrassed, but in truth he was far from it. The heat in his cheeks were caused much more by his deeper feelings, than embarrassed ones. Eying her down, he inhaled very deeply. Her scent intoxicated him. It was easier for him to feel more comfortable around her when he was in essence high off of her. His mind fell into a peaceful place and his hormones and adrenaline raced off at record speed. Opening his eyes, they became fixed to her, and with all of his might he tried to show her that she was safe here no matter what. The fiery look in his eye, was one that was very uncommon. His eyes were usually locked in dead stares, but not right now. Right now all he was, was a ball full of energy. He needed badly for it to go away, and he knew that now, it was time to morph.
"Stay right where you are." Upon his ultimatum being given, Julian quickly slid down his boxer briefs. He knew if he shifted with them, they'd explode into a million pieces. If he'd have to get into his pants after without them, he'd be one very uncomfortable and unhappy camper. As soon as they were off he looked at her one last time. Suddenly his body began to vibrate and quiver, and within a second Julian was gone. Instead, a large ferocious jaguar took his place. Opening his jaw he let out a very loud snarl. His bright yellow eyes adjusted to the forest light, and he crouched down near to the ground. Stretching out his limbs, he moved around and jumped onto the trunk of a fallen tree. Scaling it with ease, he licked his lips and brought his attention back onto her. Jumping off it very gracefully, he moved near her and stroked his fur against her bare legs. The movement was very much like a normal cat who was seeking affection. Moving around her in one quick circle he ran back to where he was once standing and whipped around.
Digging his claws into the ground, he waited for her reaction. He wouldn't dare move beyond this point, and he hoped with all his heart that Carin would accept this truth. If she didn't, then Julian would be brokenhearted, for sure.

Carin just stared at the place where Julian had disappeared to, her body still staying where it was. She was a tad too shocked to move. Why had he gotten up and left her there. Really. It was very strange, but she waited. As he had asked her, reluctantly, but she did wait. Carin shuffled her feet for a moment, crossing her arms in front of her. This was stupid. Why did she have to wait here. If he left her here though, she'd be able to find her way back. The place looked pretty familiar, she was almost certain they were in La Push, maybe even near her house. A grin came onto her lips, that would surely be funny if they were like right by her house. Only walk like twenty feet or so out of the woods in one way, and there was her house. She laughed aloud as she thought of what would just happen. Maybe nothing at all, but still. It was fun to imagine stuff. The small anger that Carin once held towards Julian crashing into her to save her, or so he thought, was starting to drift away. He must of thought she had been human. Carin didn't think he fully knew what she was, and that was strange. She knew what he was. Carin shifted her feet under her again, waiting for Julian to make a reappearance back out where he had left her.
It wasn't like Carin had planned to just run off that drop off, she really hadn't been paying attention and for the fact if she hadn't been pushing herself as hard as she was with her extra speed she had gotten from her transformation, she would have been able to stop herself from going off the edge, or the very least grab onto something before she fully went off and pulled herself back up to the ground. It was partly Julian's fault, he had distracted her, that was why she hadn't been paying attention to the drop off. Carin had in fact, seen it but thought it was just slopping down, not a clear drop off. She probably should have been more careful, she'd admit that at least. Julian had in fact, heard her protests that she had made while he was leaving because he soon replied back, yelling too. “Julian, just come back here. What are you doing?” Carin hollered back, knowing full well he'd be able to hear her voice even if she hadn't said her words so loudly. She listened closely, trying to hear if he was doing anything. She could barely pick up the movements he was making, they were so quite to begin with. She couldn't exactly say what he was doing, the movements themselves were too quiet. Carin ran a hand through her now, tangled brunette hair as she waited for him to emerge. She could hear his footsteps growing closer. Carin kept her eyes on the place where Julian had disappeared through, he was coming back this way. His voice came from the same area, he had paused in his walking. “Umm...alright?” Carin replied. It sure had taken him long enough. The sight that Carin was met with, wasn't something she had been expecting.
Her eyes bulged as she stared at Julian. He had completely stripped himself, only remaining article of clothing on his body was his underwear. Carin tried not to let her eyes wander or to stare, but it was damn hard. She felt an attraction to this person, a very strong one. Carin coughed, clearing her throat. “Uhh...Julian not to sound rude or anything...but what in the hell do you think your doing!? You're in your underwear for Christ sake!” Things had certainly just gotten odder than they already were. Here Julian was, coming back out to her in only his underwear. God knows what he could be doing. But she stood there, waiting for a reply from this crazy man that she'd only gotten to know today. “Well if this...” she said gesturing towards him, “was what you wanted to show me...uhh...I'm good.” Nodding her head, she looked around. Carin tried to keep her eyes off of him as much as possible. Julian had asked her to not move, so she did as he asked...for now. Julian wasn't that close to her, he had stopped about ten feet or so in front of her, she eyed him carefully, studying his face. What was he up to? As she kept looking at his face, his cheeks began to grow red. He was embarrassed? Ha, she'd sure as hell be if she had walked out like that. His eyes were a bit different and it seemed like the was trying to convey something with the look he was giving her. She didn't exactly understand it, try as she might. Carin let out a laugh, “Haven't I been, Julian?” It was true, she had followed everything he had asked her to do. Why would she stop that now? He hadn't really given her any reason to not do what he asked, well...other than coming out here in his boxer briefs, which Carin was still wary about. His intentions hadn't been made clear yet.
His hands reached towards his boxers. Carin raised an eyebrow at him, she was still standing where she was. Julian quickly discarded the last bit of clothing he had on his body, her eyes went bug eyed. “Julian, what in the hell!?” Okay, this had went beyond creepy now. Carin looked away, her eyes going to the trees around them, ignore the fact that the guy she was with was not fully naked in front of her. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught the slight tremble that began to go through Julian's body. Her eyes moved back to him, but they had only caught the slight of Julian's body splitting and fur going into its place. This just kept getting weirder and weirder. Well at least she had been right, he was a shifter...just not what she was expecting. Her eyes stared at the animal, or well Julian, that was in front of her. The huge...Jaguar? Was that what he was? Carin admitted, if she hadn't seen him transform into this, she wouldn't have known it was him. It startled her when the animal snarled, it made her jump back. She hadn't been exactly ready for that, she was in shock that this...was what he became into. It was just plain strange. She knew she nor her brothers looked nothing like this. Carin was about to ask what he was but then remembered, that if he was anything like her or her brothers, she knew that he couldn't respond back. Well at least in a human voice and she didn't speak Jaguar. She laughed slightly at the thought in her head. Carin's eyes followed him, as he moved around jumping onto things. As he moved near her, she knew to stay where she was. And it was Julian...he had seemed pretty nice before, she was sure he wouldn't hurt her in this form but she would still be cautious. One of her hands petted him as he rubbed against her legs. Julian was back again at the place he had started, her hand was still extended out from where he had been.
“Well...that was certainly interesting.” Carin said, staring at him. What to do now? Well, Julian had shown her what he was...maybe he should do the same. It seemed that he was still ignorant to the fact that she was like he was...or well...seemed like it anyways. She turned into something different. Carin pondered the thought over for a moment while her eyes stayed locked onto Julian's new form. Well...it wasn't exactly a bad idea. Carin took her bracelet off slowly, placing it on a rock near by, along with the cell phone that was in her front pocket. Slipping her shoes and socks off too, she sat them by the rock. “Alright, well...don't be freak Julian. Okay? And please, for Gods sake, do not attack me.” Carin said, and she reached her hands down to the bottom of her shirt and pulled it over her head. Slipping her shorts off too, she placed them onto of her shoes. She turned back around, eying him for a moment. Glaring at him actually, she was trying to convey to him that he should turn around or else. Carin wasn't bothered by the fac that she was in her bra and underwear, it was like she was in a bathing suit. And for some reason...she didn't mind that it was Julian seeing her. How odd. She shook her head for a moment. “Okay umm...” She said aloud to herself, looking around. Now what? She didn't exactly want to strip down naked in front of him nor did she want to shred the bra and underwear she were wearing. Looking at the log that he had previously been on, she walked over to it and stood behind it. Looking back at Julian, she could still see him. A blush came onto her cheeks, this was embarrassing.
She stood there for a few moments, trying to bring bad memories into her mind. She wasn't exactly well enough skilled yet to just shift back and forth as she pleased. It didn't take long before the trembling began to go through her limbs and steadily getting worse. Her hands balled into fists beside her and she closed her eyes. As she felt the change coming soon, she bent over, her body being basically hidden from Julian. He could at least see her head and her dark hair. Slipping the underwear off fast, and unfastening the bra quickly, she discarded the items fast and took a step back and let the change flow through her limbs. The feeling was weird, shifting from body to body. It took her a few moments before the disorientation left her. Carin's mind searched out for her brothers mind, to see if they were like she was and luckily, they were not. ”Thank god.” She thought to herself. Carin lifted her massive head and looked at Julian.
